Effort Is Never Wasted

We often measure effort by outcomes.

Did it work?

Did it succeed?

Did it give the result I hoped for?

And when the answer is no, disappointment creeps in. We start questioning the time, energy, and heart we invested. But here’s a powerful truth:

Effort is never wasted — even when the results are not what we expected.

Every attempt teaches you something.

Every failure sharpens your awareness.

Every setback strengthens your emotional muscle.

The job you didn’t get builds resilience.

The relationship that didn’t work deepens your understanding.

The project that failed improves your skills.

Effort shapes you in ways success sometimes cannot.

Success gives you validation.

Effort gives you growth.

When you show up, try again, push through discomfort, and refuse to quit on yourself — you are becoming more educated, more experienced, and stronger. That inner evolution is invisible, but it is powerful.

Results may disappoint you.

But growth never betrays you.

So keep going.

Not just for the outcome —

but for the person you are becoming along the way. 🌱

Rebuilding Self Worth for Women

 Self-worth is:

“I am valuable — even when I am imperfect, rejected, or not performing.”

Many women confuse being useful with being worthy.

Self-worth must move from “what I do” → to “who I am.”

Confidence grows when we keep small promises to ourselves.

Each time she follows through, her brain registers:

“I can trust myself.” Self-trust → self-respect → self-worth.

Self-worth grows in compassionate internal dialogue.

Every time a woman:

  • Tolerates disrespect
  • Over-explains
  • Over-apologizes
  • Says yes when she means no

Self-worth weakens.

Teach this mantra to self :

“If it costs me my peace, it is too expensive.”

Boundaries are not aggression. They are proof of self-value.

Self-worth is not built by positive thinking.

It is built by:

  • Keeping promises to yourself
  • Setting boundaries
  • Healing emotional wounds
  • Expanding identity
  • Acting despite fear

Healthy Coping Mechanism to Calm yourself !

We experience challenges , changes and unexpected life turns every single day , which may make us jittery and we may lose our calm !

So what exactly we do to cope with this stress - each one over period of time have identified different ways of calming ourselves maybe listen to music, art , meditation , reading a book etc !

But what is the most important thing is to Get to the right state of mind, one that actually allowed us to move forward with our lives, this requires mindful practice

When you find yourself facing a disheartening reality your emotional reaction might be to deny the situation, or to avoid dealing with it altogether. But by doing so you’re inadvertently holding on even tighter to the pain that you wish to let go of — you’re, in effect, sealing it up inside you.

We need to learn to open to the painful feelings and emotions you have — with time you will find out that it’s not comfortable, but you can still be fine and you can still step forward. Openness means you don’t instantly decide that you know this is only going to be a horrible experience — it means you admit that you don’t really know what the next step will be like, and you’d like to understand the whole truth of the matter.

if you want life TO BE HAPPIER, you must change YOUR THINKING.

The secret to happiness and peace is letting every situation be what it is, instead of what you think it should be,and making the best of it by accepting and adapting

Remember, you alone get to choose what matters and what doesn't.

The meaning of everything in your life has precisely the meaning you give it.

What is most Important in Life - Dedicated to All StepDads 😊

Fathers Day jus being around, it’s the right time to pen my thoughts and dedicate this post to all the Step Dads ..

There is a reason why I have written stepdad as they have to really put that extra effort to win the heart of the kids who are not there’s !!!

We grow up but the things that affect us as human beings don’t change and one of the most important relationship is of Father- Kids or Dads - Kids - isn’t it !

My son and his step dad cherish their human connection, they have built such a strong fondness for each other and take care of each other with kindness and affection ❤️

This has left such a wonderful experience with my son that he in the future wants to have a big family of his own and takes care of his real kids like his step dad does for him.

One of the easiest ways to tell if the father and kid are in a healthy relationship is whether they act as a Cheerleader for each other

Do the father or son are ridiculing each other as they grow up making each other weak and worthless or they help each other to Rise up with lots of encouragement ,,,

The duo communicates with each other on how much they love each other giving strength to each other …

They appreciate each other by doing small things for each other daily…

They accept each other as they are which gives them the confidence around other outside people who may. not understand their relationship …

They are best friends in need and seeing my son and his step dad laughing, giggling and getting irritated with each other at time ——  confirms the feeling that good people really do exist !

Love and spread the cheers Happy Fathers Day Aryan and Devansh

Hope it’s not too late !!!!!

For some things in Life you should not feel Hope it’s not too late !!!!

Listen to your intuition ....breathe and follow your heart ❤️

Stop living for other people and their opinions. Be true to YOU.

In every situation do your best.... once you know better than do better !

Stay patient and stay positive

Just give what you can. No one has ever become poor by giving.

If you’re lucky enough to have a body that’s in good health, be wise enough to keep it that way.

It’s often our thinking that hurts us ...so not limit your thinking

Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering, and doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but just how it’s meant to be.

Actions always speak louder than words. So work hard in silence, and let your success be your noise.

You’re always growing. Experiences don’t stop. That’s life.

Enjoy !!!

Who shined the spotlight on the reality...???

Do you know the answer to the Title ?

Yes , COVID did so ...we got back to basics making our lives simpler , isn’t it !!!

We Changed our focus. – We realised that the happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. The mind is where half of the things you thought were going to happen, never did happen. But if you allow these thoughts to dwell in your mind, they will succeed in robbing you of peace, joy, and ultimately your life. You will think yourself into a nervous breakdown, into depression, and into defeat. Because, to a great extent, you are what you think.

A beautiful day always begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy. The moment you start acting like life is a blessing, I assure you it will start to feel like one

We accepted and Fought today's battles ONLY. – No matter what’s happening, anyone can efficiently fight the battles of just one day. It’s only when you add the battles of those two abysmal eternities, yesterday and tomorrow, that life gets overwhelmingly complicated.

We started to catch up on sleep, made time for fun and laughter, eating healthy enough to maintain peak energy levels, and making time for recovery from the pressures of life.

We Respectfully care less. – Today, I challenge you to make this your lifelong, daily motto: “I respectfully do not care.” Say it to anyone who passes judgment on something you strongly believe in or something that makes you who you are.

People will inevitable judge you at some point anyway, and that’s OK.You may not be able control all the things people say and do to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. Make that decision for yourself today.

So let’s continue with these 3 things to make our life simple even after things go back to normal

Tuning Out the Noise !!

Self-reflection and personal growth are things many of us tend to leave out of our daily routines

My article always promotes positive self-talk and could help empower others to develop their own growth mindset that they can apply now as well as to future adversities life will undoubtedly throw at them.

With social distancing and slow down as we are now working from home this is the best thing to do – Journaling your thoughts and feelings!

There is nothing immediately exciting about forcing yourself into self-reflection through journaling for a short time every day, but by doing so, i assure that we will have better lives.

We teach our kids to make notes for whatever is important in school, at workplace we make important notes so then why not make a Journal of your own thoughts and feelings!

The mind needs to be trained to gain strength. It needs to be worked consistently to grow and develop over time. And that’s precisely what a daily ritual of journaling will gradually allow us to achieve...

You can write down what you did today, what you tried to accomplish, where you made mistakes, and so much more.

You can capture your thoughts on the below pointers in your Journal , choose different ones for different days

  1. Whats stressing you out today? And what can you do to improve your response?
  2. What can you do to ease your mind today?
  3. What do you love about your present life circumstances?
  4. What brings you peace and why?
  5. Whats one privilege you have that your'e taking for granted?
  6. How can you better accept the discomfort that you may be experiencing?
  7. What can you let go right now without losing a thing!
  8. What small step you have been thinking to take far too long?
  9. Whats something you take too personally?
  10. How will you remind yourself to ease your expectations today?
  11. Who was the last person who was kind to you and what did you do to be kind to others?
  12. How will you choose yourself today?
  13. What has your inner wisdom been trying to tell you?
  14. What does a new beginning mean to you today?
  15. What an old pattern of behavior you would like to change?
So lets take out 5 mins each day and capture our important thoughts and feelings!

Choose to Answer the Call !!!

So many times we have this thought that " This isn't working" or "Something is off about this" or as we all say "Things have to Change"

Nobody has to tell you as you already know...

We all have our wakeup cals but we are too busy or distracted to answer them!!

Really listen to your inner voice and change will be easy and exciting too!!

We have a choice!! Gradually we can change our life !!!

I have a personal story to share which hopefully will inspire you

I dint plan myself to make the changes which i have made over a decade :

Overcome a heartbreaking divorce and loss of a child
Declutter my physical and mental space
Deepened my most imp relationships
Own my imperfections
Progress towards a major life transforming Goal

Gracefully let go of the things and people not meant to be together and gain more clarity on what we really need in our lives!

If your life is an auto pilot mode then its your wake up call
If you have never put your needs first then its your wake up call
if you are constantly distracted then its your wake up call
if you are stressed out, depleted and beat up then its your wakeup call
if you are a changed person that you cannot resonate with you then its your wake up call

Choose to answer the call !!!

Listen to all but Follow your Heart !!

During the lockdown days we have the entire family together for a larger period of time, the kids have more time to observe the parents and pick up actions and perspectives from their parents and siblings which will become an integral part of their lives!!

I was thinking about the whole experience of childhood and parenthood and everything in between...

My list of things which i keep sharing with my son and shall continue to remind him for several years till he is big enough to tell me Mom i know all this ....

Don't base your attitude basis the situation rather choose your attitude which will save you from frustration and stress.Choose wisely and intentionally.

Be funny and courageous.

Smile, laugh and be joyful.

Let go of the need to complain about Life rather enjoy the small moments and living its beauty.

Don't run away from things, what needs to be done should be done within that stipulated time.

Be thankful and show Gratitude towards life and people

Focus on what needs your attention presently and action it out.

Don't be anxious over uncertainty, believe in yourself and handle whatever comes your way.

Make the attempt..everything that you achieve comes from what you attempt.

Choose to learn, choose to grow and choose choose to become more aware of yourself.

Be genuine and authentic ..Be Real

We all have Goals ...simple, short term , longterm ...choose goals which are positive and meaningful

Don't get pulled in all the directions... choose what you value most in Life and this is what will create you.

My son is a Miracle child and thus i believe that Miracles do happen everyday..

Whatever you choose in Life do with complete enthusiasm and dedication.

Use every opportunity to showcase your skills and keep improving oneself by accepting challenges

Celebrate small success and your progress which will help you to realise how far you have come

Don't limit yourself with others opinion...allow yourself to be yourself !

Make your own Rules but don't Break Laws or Rules ..

Treat everyone with kindness and respect - and start with yourself!

Embrace humility and Being Humble

Admit when you're wrong and apologise with grace

Don't miss an opportunity to tell people how wonderful they are- Live so that people will enjoy your presence!

Keep an open mind, go somewhere new, do something different

Don't be afraid in Life, your parents will always support you, the bond and security we have created is the most important thing in our relationship.

Time to Simplify ...

In this moment wherein lockdown is making us crazy and we are in retrospect on how to declutter and simplify our lives, i would like to share my perspective on what to eliminate from life for more peace and ease in your life !!

We need to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary can speak !!

Eliminate any negative thoughts and fill it with gratitude and stop wearing Fear!

Live how you need...Stop pleasing around and be true to yourself!

The less physical and mental garbage in your own space, the better you will to focus on what is important and what matters the most !

Just remember where attention goes the energy flow in the same direction ..so give your attention to positive, laughter, hope and faith

Be realistic in life, simple and assertive in your approach, forgive more and accommodate diversity

Go with self care - mentally , emotionally and physically.

Focus on your dreams and present goals !

When we too tightly believe in everything that we think is the truth...we should question our thoughts and we will realise that life is more lighter and peaceful than overreacting basis our thoughts!

Simplify your life by letting go guilt, pain, expectations, pressure to prove yourself, your failures !!

Stay Home, Stay at Peace !

To be free in the Midst of Life Uncertainties.....

We are free the instant we choose to be .....

We live in this illusion that Life is well under our control...isn't it??

I too always wish to have a controlled life but as Life has his own ways to surprise me .... we wrestle unexpected life circumstances we thought we had full control over ..isn't it ?

It may be this lockdown due to covid-19 or a death in the family or any unforseen circumstances which each one struggle to cope up with.

With my past experiences and the present situations the only choice i had is "My Responses", either i focus on the lack of resources, lack of faith and hope or empower myself to respond sensibly and responsibly.

I know it's not an easy task to always choose the right responses as we are heartbroken or unable to accept the reality and this is the where i say " The Mind is our Biggest Battleground"

We are all facing our share of difficult circumstances right now, many of which are not the result of anything we’ve done. Feeling out of control is utterly terrifying ...

We may feel frustrated, angry, blame others or self but we still have the situation and we have to choose our responses...

We may sit and morn over things or Let go and focus on the little things which we can accomplish and move forward in Life...

We have to put an effort to understand the difference between what you can control and what is not in your control...

To peacefully accept the reality amidst the chaos of life... to not fight with yourself but to clear your mind away from the drama and overwhelming emotions !!!

Don't collapse yourself under the weight of life circumstances rather keep taking those tiny steps towards life accomplishments and a peaceful life

The tiny steps and actioning those steps will lead to a more satisfying life, will conquer pain , insecurity and heal you !!!

Over a period of time we make our life harder and harder ...so take this time to reflect and be in touch with your true self !!

For anything that you're struggling you can reach out to us for us to create a short program for you ....

Your Focus Determines Your Reality

Starve your distractions and Feed your focus -

Living your dream is really just a matter of proper lifestyle alignment. It’s about being true to yourself.

Don’t let the silly little dramas of each day get you down either. Stay positive when negativity surrounds you.It takes one positive thought to overpower an entire array of negative thoughts.People who are able to find the one positive point in negative situations are the ones who never give up...

No one has ever made themselves strong by showing how small someone else is. Whatever can be done, can be done more effectively when you add kindness.

Regardless of the opinions of others, at the end of the day the only reflection staring back at you in the mirror is your own.Make sure you’re proud of who that person is...

Focus on the resources you do have access to. It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give power to has power over you, if you allow it.

Every corner you turn or street you walk down has a new experience waiting for you. You just have to see the opportunity and be adventurous enough to run with it.

Don’t just get things done; get the right things done. Results are always more important than the time it takes to achieve them.

You have to take risks. You will only realize the full potential of your life when you allow the unexpected to happen. Living itself is risky business.

You’re obligated to keep trying—to do the best you can do every day. That’s all. And you’re always good enough to do that....

The ones who win the race in the long run are usually not the quickest or slickest, but the ones who have endured the most.

Stop getting distracted by things that have nothing to do with your goals....

In the game of life

We all receive various set of unexpected limitations and variables in the field of play.

The question is: How will you respond?

You can either focus on the lack thereof or empower yourself to play the game sensibly &  resourcefully, making the very best of every outcome as it arises, even when it’s heartbreaking and hard to accept.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the mind is our biggest battleground, It’s where we fall victim to our cravings to control the uncontrollable.

Without a doubt, we all face our share of difficult circumstances, many of which are not the results of anything we’ve done.

"Grit our teeth and try to move the immovable object, and become frustrated and bitter when we realize we can’t

OR

"Let it be .... Let go.""

Empowering yourself to relinquish control is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself—the ability to exist peacefully amidst the chaos of life.

"We are free at the instant we wish to be"

Think Intelligent and Think Appropriate!

Choose to see your Value!

Choose to Prove that your're not a Victim!

  7. Forgive yourself for the choices that you took which hurt self and others
  8. What you do Now is more important then what happened yesterday
  9. Learn, Earn, Grow & Give
  10. The goal is to change your response to all that is negative for a promising 2019

What Works for Me!

Its been long that I shared my thoughts, so today as I get back to work here are few thoughts that work for me:

Today is still a priceless gift (make the best of it). – I know that each one of those limited days is a gift, a blessing… a miracle. And so, I reminded myself this morning that this day counts and that I still need to make the best of it. That doesn’t mean I need to be hyper-productive or work myself into the ground, but that I should do something worthwhile. Sometimes taking a break to nourish yourself is a worthwhile activity, because doing so allows you to regroup and do other worthwhile things.

That’s what I did this morning – I took the tiniest possible step. Just turning on my computer, opening up a document, and writing a single sentence. Such an action is so small as to seem insignificant, And it showed me the next step was possible, and the next.

Don’t neglect your authentic selves. – Make a big list of all the things that make you feel great, and do at least one thing on it every day. Big or small, it doesn't matter! Doing something that makes us feel amazing is an act of self-love – it's that simple! This small effort reduces stress levels and makes us feel capable and confident. Rather than waiting for other people or circumstances to make us feel good, practicing self-love is all about empowering ourselves to feel how we want to feel, all the time.

Practicing gratitude is super supportive for our emotional wellness because it shifts our focus to the good in our lives, and trains us to look for the positives in every situation. It gives us appreciation for all that we have instead of getting caught up with what's lacking.

People know your name, not your story. They’ve heard what you’ve done, but don’t understand what you’ve been through. So take their opinions of you with a grain of salt. In the end, it’s not what others think, it’s what you think about yourself that counts. Sometimes you have to do exactly what’s right for you and your life, without giving a darn what your life looks like to everyone around you who doesn’t even know you.

In order to gain conscious control of what goes on in your mind, you need to develop a keen awareness for this process. What helps is to hold still for a moment, take a deep breath and free your mind of all the chatter that is going on inside. This makes room for a change of state, for something new to enter. So give yourself a break. Don’t say you can’t. Yes, you have battles out in the world to fight, insecurities to overcome, loved ones to contend with and goals to achieve, but a break from it all is necessary. It’s perfectly healthy to pause and let the world spin without you for a while. If you don’t, you will burn yourself out. So refill your bucket on a regular basis

There are no hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown hopeless about them. So keep your hope alive through positive awareness. Don’t let the pain make you desperate. Don’t let the negativity wear off on you. Don’t let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Spend your energy moving forward. Change your thoughts and you change your reality. Our thoughts are the makers of our moods, the inventors of our dreams, and the creators of our will. That’s why we must sort through them carefully, and choose to respond only to those that will help us build the life we want

Chuck Palahniuk once said, “The only way to find true happiness in life is to risk being completely cut open.” Nothing could be closer to the truth. Anybody who is capable of living and loving is bound to get hurt at some point, but that’s a risk that’s well worth the reward. The result is a life filled with honesty and sincere love.

When we continue to repeat a story in our head, as all of us do, we eventually believe that story and embrace it – whether it empowers us or not. So the question is: Does your story empower you? Don’t place your past mishaps on your mind, their weight may crush your current potential. Instead, place them under your feet and use them as a platform to view the horizon. Remember, all things are difficult before they are easy. What matters the most is what you start doing now.

Don’t be afraid to get back up – to try again, to love again, to live again, and to dream again. Don’t let a hard lesson harden your heart. Life’s best lessons are often learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes. There will be times when it seems like everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong. And you might feel like you will be stuck in this rut forever, but you won’t. When you feel like quitting, remember that sometimes things have to go very wrong before they can be right. Sometimes you have to go through the worst, to arrive at your best.

Expand Your Comfort Zone

There are ways to expand your comfort zone gently. It doesn’t matter how you get there, as long as you complete the journey.

Start slowly. It’s the bigger changes that tend to stimulate feelings of discomfort. The thought of doing 50 pushups for the first time in five years is daunting. The thought of doing one isn’t a problem.

Create small changes and then increase those changes over time. This is a great way to keep discomfort at bay.

Eat something new. Most of us are a little hesitant to try a new food, but it’s a non-threatening way to stretch your comfort zone. Try a new restaurant or a new fruit from the grocery store.

Read something completely different than your usual fare. If you’re a man, a book on feminism might be just the ticket. Read something you would ordinarily never read.

Unplug for an entire day. Turn off your phone, the internet, and the television. This will be more uncomfortable than you think.

Sit in a different place. Sit on the couch instead of your favorite chair. Choose a different seat at the dining table.

Strike up a conversation with a stranger. It doesn’t have to be a twenty-minute affair. If you can maintain a conversation for 30 seconds, consider yourself successful. There are plenty of people in the world available for practice.

Ask your boss for a review. Tell your boss you’d like to sit down with him and review your performance. It might do wonders for your career and will stretch your comfort zone.

Apply for a new job that’s a step up from your current position. You might feel like a bit of an imposter, but that’s okay. Worst case? You might get the position and a new career. Your bank account might even benefit.

Call someone you haven’t spoken to for at least six months. Just pick up the phone and do it. You’ll feel great about it afterwards.

Travel out of the Country. If you’ve never travelled outside your home country, you might be in for quite a shock. The food, people, and culture can all be different. Apply for a passport and consider where you’d like to visit.

Give yourself a thrill. Tackle something that makes you a little fearful. Go skydiving or ride a roller coaster. Give a speech. Take a dance class.

Sit by yourself in silence. This can be tougher than you think. Turn off all your devices and just sit alone with yourself. Avoid allowing yourself to daydream. Just stay with yourself for at least 30 minutes.

Expanding your comfort zone opens up numerous possibilities. Think about how your life would change if your comfort zone were larger. It’s possible to accomplish this without the pain you might imagine. Stretch your comfort zone a little each day.
